[Newsletter] Skatebaording and the Olympics

Hi everyone
Skateboarding has been placed under the Cycling Federation (UCI) to make  way 
for the Olympics. BMX is already an Olympic sport. The IOC may still have to  
drop 1 more sport to accommodate skateboarding but the path has been cleared. 
 What will this mean for most skaters? More skateparks for sure, less tickets 
and  soe people will make off with a lot of IOC $.
For skaters who want to compete this is good news , for lifestyle skaters  it 
should not affect them. Skateboarding will carry on with underground events  
and competitions as well as organized  events that will lead to the  Olympics.
